Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the AnyShortcut iOS application ("AnyShortcut", "the app", "we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use it. By using AnyShortcut you agree to the practices described below.

Summary: AnyShortcut does not require an account, does not collect personal data, and does not transmit your shortcut configuration off your device.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

AnyShortcut is built to function fully offline. We do not collect, store, or transmit:

Your name, email address, phone number, or any identifier;
Your location;
Your contacts, photos, calendars, or other personal libraries;
Analytics, crash, or usage telemetry from third-party SDKs.

2. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

Shortcut configurations you create (such as which app to launch and what action to perform) are stored only on your device using iOS's standard local storage. If iCloud sync is enabled by you at the system level for app data, this information may be synchronized between your own Apple devices through Apple's iCloud — we do not have access to it.

3. App Launch Behavior

When you tap a shortcut, iOS opens the corresponding target app or URL. Once the target app opens, you are subject to that app's privacy practices, not ours. AnyShortcut does not pass your data to those apps beyond the parameters required to perform the action you configured (for example, the contact number you chose to call).

4. Purchases and Subscriptions

Free and Premium tiers, including monthly, yearly, and lifetime purchases, are processed entirely by Apple via the App Store. We do not see or store your payment information. Apple's privacy policy applies to those transactions.

5. Permissions

AnyShortcut may request the minimum permissions needed for a chosen shortcut to work (for example, the ability to open URLs). Permissions are governed by iOS and can be revoked any time in Settings → AnyShortcut.

6. Children's Privacy

AnyShortcut is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

7. Data Security

Because no data is transmitted to us, there is no server-side data to secure. Information stored on your device is protected by iOS's standard sandboxing and device-level security.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the app or this page.
